Michelle started her working life as a machine operator in a glass lens manufacturing company where she quickly moved into the Quality department, which saw the start of her career in SHEQ, and has been in SHEQ ever since.
Michelle has worked for Linde for 13 years, firstly as a Regional Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Advisor. After 8 years, she moved into the Operations Safety Manager role, focusing on operational risk management, and 2 years later, She was promoted to her current role as Safety Manager for the UK & Ireland, and manages a team of 8 Regional SHEQ Advisors.
