José Miguel Ruiz Barceló. Nippon Gases
José Miguel joined Nippon Gases Spain in 1989 as construction manager. After several positions in engineering, customer service and operations he transferred to the European organisation, where he led cost reduction and productivity projects in Europe. After building the engineering organisation in Russia he returned to the European organisation to join the HSE department, where he is currently process safety manager and leads the Nippon Gases European compliance assessment programme.
He participates in EIGA AHG-S.2 “Process Safety” and is a member of AIChE.
José Miguel holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a MSc in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.
